Services
Chiropractic
Our care is based on a holistic approach, meaning we treat the physical ailments with the notion that it provides relief and can help our patient’s mental and social well-being. Our emphasis is place on the principle that the body heals from the inside out. To do this, we focus on joint dysfunction as the relationship between the joints and the nervous system plays a vital role in health. During your visit, we carefully examine your joints to look for misalignment, mobility, and pain or discomfort in order to provide accurate adjustments to the areas of need. This allows the nervous system to function at its full capacity without interference from surrounding structures and will also provide a relief in pain and inflammation, improve range of motion, and proper mechanics of the muscles and joints.

Sciatica
Sciatica is caused by irritation of the sciatic nerve that runs from the lower back, through the glute muscles, along with the hamstrings, and ending just above the knee. It can be caused by a herniated or bulging disc, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, spondylolisthesis, or spasm in the piriformis muscle. Treatments may vary and we personalize your treatment with a combination of chiropractic adjustment, soft tissue release, physical therapy, or other modalities such as ice, heat, electrical muscle stimulation, or ultrasound.
Diet and Nutrition
Proper nutrition is crucial for your health. What we consume directly affects how our body performs. With a wealth of information available on nutrition and dieting, it can be overwhelming to research. We can help provide guidance to your nutritional goals, whether it is to lose weight, eat healthier, or assistance with the injury recovery process.
Posture
A healthy posture allows us to move properly without pain or discomfort. It helps keep our joints in proper alignment and reduces abnormal wear in the joints and bone. It also helps reduce stress to the ligaments and muscles by requiring less energy for movement and thus will reduce injury occurrences. We provide exercises that can help improve your posture, chiropractic adjustments to maintain proper spinal alignment, and recommendations for better ergonomics while sitting, standing, or lying down.
Headaches
Most commonly, poor posture is the cause of headaches. It can trigger muscle tension at the back of the neck which can lead to spasms. These spasms pull at the base of the skull and pull the tissue that encircles the brain, causing headaches. We can help alleviate the headaches through a chiropractic adjustment to the neck region that will decrease muscle tension and spasms.
Back Pain
One of the most common musculoskeletal conditions, low back pain is the single leading cause of disability worldwide (Hoy D et al. The Global Burden of Low Back Pain: Estimates from the Global Burden of Disease 2010 Study. Ann Rheum Dis. 2014 Jun;73(6):968-74). Whether you have chronic low back pain or acute low back pain due to injury from sports, motor vehicle collision, degenerative disc disease, muscle strain or ligament sprain, herniated disc, etc. we strive to get you back to doing your daily activities. Our focus is to provide soft tissue therapy where it is needed to increase the flexibility of your muscles, chiropractic adjustments to increase your mobility, and therapeutic exercises to strengthen your muscle and reduce further risk of injury.
Neck Pain
Neck pain is another musculoskeletal condition that has many causes such as whiplash injuries from slip and falls or motor vehicle collisions, poor posture, or health conditions such as osteoarthritis, disc herniation, stress, and spinal stenosis. It is the fourth leading cause of disability and will occur in about 50% of adults (Cohen SP. Epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment of neck pain. Mayo Clin Proc. 2015 Feb;90(2):284-99). We focus on proper alignment of the spine as well as correcting the curve through mechanical traction and strengthening the muscle with physical therapy.
